Retrain your brain

Fear is probably the most common reason for many losses people experience in life. Fear is learned behavior that can be unlearned by retraining our brain to think differently. Begin your retraining process by meditating on two concepts with scriptures today.

  1. God is your shield and great reward.

Genesis 15:1 – After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

  1. God has made provision in and for your famine season.

1 Kings 17:13 – And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.

Amen. Fear does not come from God. During times of famine or lean times, we must really exercise our faith in God. As the word of God says starting in Matthew 6:25, He will provide our needs if we ask Him and exercise our faith.
