God has people for you that you haven’t met
John 19:38 – After this, Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly, for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate gave him permission. So he came and took the body of Jesus.
One of our greatest struggles is avoiding being pulled into natural considerations to the end that we fail to include the Divine in our strategy. The flesh is consistently asserting its desire to control our thinking and behaving. Paul said, “I find two laws present in my members; the one warring against the other.” Galatians 5 describes the production of the Spirit and the flesh and ends the discussion with a statement of superiority of the Spirit over the flesh. Thank God for that!
So it should not surprise us that the enemy works at deadening our spiritual sensibilities. With them we win in every detail of our lives. In John 19:38, we see an example with Joseph of Arimathea. He was, according to the record, a secret believer; no one knew about his faith because he feared exposure, yet he was help to the faith at a critical time. No doubt God positioned him for His purposes.
In your life God has positioned people whom you have not yet met; they are there for your support as it relates to His purpose for your life. Pray that God would give you the discernment to identify those critical relationships that He has made available to help you fulfill His plan for your success. Pray now and ask God to aid you in this discovery.
