Resist Defeat With Every Fiber of Your Being

Hebrews 12:4 (NKJV) – “You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.”

Friends, we don’t play nine innings ball games, we play until we win. We have this mindset because, metaphorically speaking, we own the bat and the ball. Read Romans 8:31-39 and embrace the realization that you are on a team that has never lost a game, championship, match, etc.

The Bible is clear about who enables us even in spite of our confusion about the same at times. Philippians 2:13 says, “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”

Now, how can we lose with that kind of enablement? Our confidence is based on our support; Philippians 4:13, 19 closes the deal for us.

Philippians 4:13, 19 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. 19And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

The only thing left to do is to strengthen ourselves in our God; Ephesians 6:10. Then get dressed for battle; Ephesians 6:11-18.

Remember, God operates from the platform of our weakness; II Corinthians 12:8.

Take a moment to surrender your weaknesses, inabilities and shortcomings to the One who can cause all things to work together for your good; Romans 8:28.
