He Is a Relational God

Judges 13:9-11 (NLT)

God answered Manoah’s prayer, and the angel of God appeared once again to his wife as she was sitting in the field. But her husband, Manoah, was not with her. 10 So she quickly ran and told her husband, “The man who appeared to me the other day is here again!” 11 Manoah ran back with his wife and asked, “Are you the man who spoke to my wife the other day?” “Yes,” he replied, “I am.”

Much of what we accomplish in life will, out of necessity, involve others. God did not design us to be loners. He is a relational God!

We all need someone we can run to when God speaks to our hearts and someone who will run back to God with us. Think for a moment, who are those people or that person in your life? If they are not there, who could they be?

If you have no answer to that, allow the Spirit of God to lead your search committee for that person or persons with whom you can share the things of God and from whom you can receive good counsel.

God’s purpose in your life requires a team effort. Make sure your ‘draft’ choices are from the first round top ten!

  1. This is why our Living Connected groups are so important! Time to consider, are you ready to go to bat and strive for that run or are you content on sitting in the sidelines. It takes a team to play the game. We should pray for each other, root for each other
(encourage) practice together (get in the word) and recruit for next season together (outreach, winning lost souls). Thank so much for this lesson. Right on time as my time out is over.

Amen PT. We are blessed to have a Church home that enables us to connect with groups, men’s/women’s fellowship, and other ministries. With our project connect groups we are able to glean the God given wisdom from others, and take that into the world to win the lost.

  3. Amen…People need people, and through GCFI Project Connect we become the extension of God’s hand and heart As He ministers life and grace to People. Thank you PT for being such an awesome example of what God will do in and through us when we reach out to a other.
