Bridging The Gap – A Youth Ministry Weekend

GCFI

Join us for a weekend of “just peace” events building connections between Carson teens and the law enforcement in our community.

Three inspiring events:

“Bridging the Gap: Us and Authority”
Friday, May 29, 2015, 6-9 pm
Glory Christian Fellowship International, Teen Center

Roundtable discussion between teens at Glory Christian Fellowship International, a Carson police officer and a defense attorney, who is also a bail bondsman. This interactive discussion will consider the viewpoints of both the community and law enforcement and aims to educate all participants.

Also addressed: How to keep out from in front of the wrong end of “the gun.” If our youth find themselves in that position, what is the best response for a peaceful resolution?

“Bridging the Gap: Us and God”
Saturday, May 30, 2015, 6-9 pm
Glory Christian Fellowship International, Teen Center

Bring a friend and join us for an evening of teen and young adult worship and togetherness. Music, live performance and fellowship. Food is available for purchase.

“Bridging the Gap: Us and Community”
Sunday, May 31, 2015, 10 am
Glory Christian Fellowship International

Celebrate Youth Sunday in our main sanctuary at Glory Christian Fellowship International with performances by our youth and children’s choirs. Our drama ministry will enact “The Gap,” a play examining the influence of God and family on a child’s world view.
