Embrace God's Grace5

I want you to join me in embracing the Grace of God in and on your life from a fresh perspective. His Grace can become, for many, that favorite thing you enjoy and want around and yet neglect and lose appreciation for as time goes by.

Allow this Daily Word to be for you a wakeup call from Grace.

Remember that Grace (God’s unmerited favor) is available to sinner and saint; to sinner for salvation; to the redeemed for victorious living.

Psalm 84:11 reminds us that Grace is freely given [For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly].

In I Corinthians 3:10, the Bible says, the Grace prepares and enables us for service [According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it].

Paul directly correlates his service to God’s Grace.

Grace also helps us lead a simple life; it has a way of un-complicating things when we depend on it instead of ourselves [II Corinthians 1:12 – For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you].

Let’s practice humility today. The Bible says that Grace (the unmerited favor of God) is promised to the humble.

So today, on your job, in your home, wherever you are, in every opportunity, practice humility knowing that when you do so you are embracing His Grace!

    Amen PT!
I am very humble that God shows Grace everyday. Everyday He looks past our faults and gives us favor on the job, in our marriages, in our ministry, and the one area that hits home for me personally is Grace to live a healthy life.

As you mentioned, over time we lose appreciation for His Grace. It seems like our very nature is to chase after works thinking that will please God. Grace can’t be earned.
