God's Peace

In a world filled with chaos of every kind and News systems which bring the very worst of mankind into our home 24/7, it is difficult to avoid becoming callous or anxious while living in an environment of threats.

But the Bible says, in Romans 5:20, “Where sin abound, grace much more abounds.”

In II Corinthians 4, we learn from Paul that God has placed a treasure in our earthen vessels. This treasure is of great value because it enables us to successfully endure every manner of challenge we may encounter; be it hard pressure, crushing circumstances, perplexity, despair, persecution, rejection, beat downs, and even death [II Corinthians 4:7-9 ].

It is as it were our peace keeper. Thank God the Bible says in Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”

So what do we do to activate the treasure of God’s peacekeeping grace in our lives?

We simply trust God and believe that He would do what He said for us in every channel of our lives.

My friend, guard  your heart with all diligence because out of it will flow the sustenance of life!

If we don’t have the peace of God then we leave the door open for the enemy to bring about fear.
As you said PT, people are trying to find peace through the world whether it’s guns, finances, or other temporal things. We must seek the eternal for our peace.
