Don’t Stay In The Challenge You Are In - Final

Ezekiel 37:11-14 – Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. 14 I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it and performed it,” says the LORD.’”

In Ezekiel 37:11-14, God reveals the purpose of the vision He’s given to Ezekiel. He says, in essence, “I’m bringing Israel out of the grave they are in; out of their lost hope; out of the feeling of being cutoff; out of being stuck where they are.”

God goes on to say, “When I’ve done that then you shall know that I am the Lord.” Isn’t it amazing that God’s motivation for rescuing Israel was so they would know He is the Lord?

God extends Himself to us in ways we can understand; not just what He has done but He wants us to know who He is. Yet we often get stuck where we are and even refusing to come out of the grave of hopelessness and alienation we are in.

There is a sense in which some get accustom to the pain or problem and are uncomfortable with releasing or moving beyond it. For some, the fear of forward movement looms larger than their present discomfort.

The story is told of the grandfather who would sit on his front porch rocking in his chair accompanied by his hound dog who would howl excessively while sitting there.

The grandson said to his grandfather, “Why does your dog howl continually while sitting next to you. He sounds like he’s in pain.” The grandfather replied, “He is in pain. He is sitting on a nail” The boy asked, “Why doesn’t he just move?” The grandfather replied, “It doesn’t hurt bad enough.”

My friend, God has provided a way out of whatever challenge the enemy has set before you. Determine to come out; refuse to stay!

 Peace and blessing!

    Amen PT!
As you said, God extends Himself in ways we can understand, and I am thankful He is able to relate to us down here.

Believe it or not, I’ve met people that are too scared to move forward; not because a fear of failure, but because of a fear of success. These people know they have it within themselves to succeed (in the things of God), but they know it will take effort (reading, praying…) to sustain that momentum to move forward. In the end, they are like that hound dog you mentioned. They would rather stay in their situation then find rest and comfort in our Lord.

Just take yourself out of the equation and let God have His way!

Good word PT. Yes, pain and fear can be so paralyzing that the only way to move forward is by having and intimate relationship with our Lord and Saviorand knowing Who he is and who we are in Christ. As PT always says, Find Away Everyday to Move Forward no Matter What.

Letting go of past hurts or disappointments are the only way we can truly move forward and live the lives God has intended for us to live. The Lord wants us to live in the place mentally and physically of His Glory and Victory..

I can’t go back and I won’t go back, and I Refuse to stay stuck; which means that I have to either Make and way or Find a way to Keep On Keeping On in God. I am a Child of God and I Will Live Like One.

God said in his word that He will make the crooked road straight and bumpy smooth so there’s no reason why we have to stay stuck in our challenges God always has a way out for us if we choose to take it.

Absolutely PT. We must and have to move forward, pressing onward to Christ who is the author and finisher of our Faith. 1 Corinthian 10:13 one of PT’S favorite scripture. There is no temptation taken you but such as is common to man but GOD is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able but will with that temptation make a way for you to escape that you may be able to bear it. Christ is letting us know He’s making a way for us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Look I’m with you always even til the end of the earth!!!!!!!!!!! Stand on GOD PROMISES!!!!!!!!!!
