Five (5) Ways to Win With Your Attitude

Life is more than the actions we take; it’s also the attitude with which we take those actions. We should never underestimate the impact of our attitude. Our attitude is a kind of shadow we cast or an example we set. It can become an emotional backbone to our interests or endeavors.

• An inconsistent attitude creates insecurity.

• An indecisive attitude creates uncertainty.

• An impatient attitude creates stress.

• An intolerant attitude creates resentment.

When our attitude goes bad we lose perspective, forget values, stop listening and sometimes act rashly.

So what are the building blocks to a good attitude?

1. Be motivated by love.

Philippians 2:1-2 Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? 2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

2. Be willing to trust.

Philippians 2:3Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.

3. Be generous.

Philippians 2:4Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

4. Be willing to serve.

Philippians 2:7…instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When He appeared in human form…

5. Be humble.

Philippians 2:8He humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.

Begin today developing the attributes you think you need most and give birth to a new you!

Peace and blessings!
