Defeat the Enemy With a Grateful Heart

The Bible warns us that gratitude is something that will significantly evade those in our current cultural context.

II Timothy 3:1-2But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy…

Self-consideration is the chief tool the enemy uses to dim the perspective of believers.

The Bible, however, is replete with instructions related to gratefulness.

Philippians 4:6-7Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I Thessalonians 5:18In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Hebrews 13:15Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

Take a moment today to think about the many things for which we can be thankful.

Take another moment and with a grateful heart offer the sacrifice of praise to God!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Peace and blessings!

    Amen PT!
I am grateful for all of God’s Blessings in my life. What God has blessed the enemy can never take away. There is so much to be thankful for today, and I wish I had more hours in the day to let God know how thankful I am.
