Jesus, Our Healing!

Mark 1:40-45Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” 41 Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” 42 As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed. 43 And He strictly warned him and sent him away at once, 44 and said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing those things which Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” 45 However, he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread the matter, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter the city, but was outside in deserted places; and they came to Him from every direction.

The Bible asks the question (God speaking), ‘Who is he that has prepared his heart to approach unto Me?’ While God has afforded us access, we do well to approach Him with reverence and humility. That doesn’t mean we should grabble but never be too proud to beg.

That which is expressed with sincerity of heart will be accepted by God. Imagine God moved with compassion to the point of touching you. Isn’t it wonderful how God illustrates and demonstrates His love and commitment to us? He is willing right now to touch issues in your life. What do you need?

When you encounter Him, prepare to leave His presence with an assignment. Your assignment will include some way to bring to public attention evidence of His miraculous work in our lives.

When Christ’s work in your life becomes evident to you, tell everyone. Start a riot of interest in Christ!

Peace and blessings!

Thank You, Lord God! This word affirms Your healing power. Please, show me how to share it today with someone in need of what You alone can offer. In the name of Jesus, Your Son, Amen.
