Manna For Today: Saturday, April 8, 2017
Mark 4:8 – “Some other seed fell on good ground and began to grow. It got taller and produced a crop. Some plants made thirty times more, some made sixty times more, and some made a hundred times more.”
Jesus used farming illustration frequently because the people were familiar with it. In this verse He describes what the result of seed falling on good ground would be. Earlier in this parable Christ spoke of a less desirable result based on poorer quality soil. Jesus was talking about how people would receive His Word and the resulting harvest based on the type of soil.
The outcome or harvest falls in two categories, a lot of something and a lot of nothing. What determines the outcome was what people had sown and were sowing in their own lives daily. So I say to you, daily ‘sow what you want to reap.’
To be in “30, 60 and 100 times more” production group, you must prepare the soil of your heart daily through prayer, reading God’s Word, service and constant communication with our Heavenly Father. This practice will prepare your heart to produce what Jesus desires! Sow today what you want to reap tomorrow.
Remember, you are loved!
Peace and blessings!
