Be Still And Know…

Manna For Today: Wednesday, June 20, 2018
My heart is open and welcomes Christ_s peace. I hear and respond to His call to peace with great gratitude.

Psalm 46:10Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Sometimes the pace of our lives causes us to miss many things of great value; the relationship wanting for love, the child in need of your attention, taking better care of yourself and so forth.

The most important negligence of our lives is breezing by our knowledge of God. The text above gives us great warning; “Be still.” Many good things can come out of periods of silence or stillness. The greatest of these is knowing that your God is God!

David said in this famous Psalm, “The Lord is…” Today, my friend, practice the disciplines of stillness and knowing to the end that your God’s presence becomes a greater reality in your life.

Your God has and will continue to deliver you!

Today, meditate on Psalm 34: 17-20 [The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He guards all his bones; not one of them is broken].

Remember, you are loved by the greatest LOVE EVER!

Peace and blessings!

I love this wonderful Manna for today. Lord help me to be still and silent often. Never let the pace of life ever cause me to put things before you. Let me alway keep you first, Lord send someone to me today that I can witness to about you and your greatness. In Jesus mighty and matchless name, Amen!

  2. Father, I praise and thank You for this manna today. Help me to be still so that I may know You are here at such a time as this. Help me to be able to hear your voice so that I move forward and quickly to the directions you give me and not be paralyzed by my emotions in seeing this evil. I cry out, divine intervention in this evil that is surfacing boldly against these immigrants. Help me to do my part. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
