God Has A Plan For You!

Manna For Today: Sunday, November 19, 2017

the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking no2

Among the many things we can count on happening in life is change. Some people fear change; most of us are intimidated by it. Perhaps it’s because change takes control of what we thought we were in control of.

Thank God He has a plan for our lives that provides us with the ability to maintain a favorable expectation of receiving that which is good. What we must do in the face of change is to trust Jesus then respond to change in a way that reflects that trust. If we will do that we are promised that “everything will work for good for those who love and trust God and keep His Word.”

Consider the following observations about God:

1. God is never late and cannot be measured by time.

II Peter 3:9The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

2. God is there right now!

Deuteronomy 31:6So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.

3. God never changes!

James 1:17Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.

Hebrews 13:8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

4. God has already made provision for you.

Isaiah 43:19For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

5. God has always had a plan for your life.

Jeremiah 29:11“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

6. God is everything we need.

Psalm 18:2The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.

7. God’s peace exceeds our ability to comprehend, yet is there for the asking.

Philippians 4:6-8Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

My friend, allow His Word to encourage your heart today then find a way to go forward in His Plan and Purpose for your life.

Remember, you are loved!

Peace and blessings!

Face The Impossible With God!

Manna For Today: Saturday, November 18, 2017

My friend, drop your rocks, stand at ease, God is fighting for you and He_s never lost a battle and He won_t start with you. Gi2

The Bible says in Luke 18:27, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”

If we believe the Word of God, we must believe then, based on this scripture, it is possible for the believer to walk in the possibility of the impossible. God’s power is manifested when we move beyond our possibilities.

When facing the door of impossibility, we can:

• Refuse to go through and return to that which is familiar.

• Just stand there and do nothing.

• Move forward by the Power, Presence and Purpose of God.

Walking forward is a decision we have to make; no one can make it for us. Sometimes, the beginning can look like the end but God is always there to lead and guide us through our moving-forward decision.

God wants to do something extraordinary in all of our lives and the only thing that can stop that is us. You can stop the move of God in your life but no one else can.

My friend, don’t run from your impossibility. Run to it knowing God’s Provision will be manifested as you move beyond your possibilities!

Remember, you are loved!

Peace and blessings!

God Is Mindful Of You!

Manna For Today: Friday, November 17, 2017

When we are convinced of the love God has for us fear has to release its grip on our thinking.

Matthew 10:30“But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”

How can we believe that our God is omniscient and at the same time unaware of some detail of our lives? If indeed our Heavenly Father is all-knowing (and He is) and if He is concerned (and He is), we may often entertain fear needlessly.

Matthew 10:30 indicates a level of awareness and concern that is unprecedented. We love our children but have no idea of how many hairs are on their heads. When we are convinced of the love God has for us fear has to release its grip on our thinking.

Meditate on the following scriptures, commit them to memory and watch an awareness of God’s love for you grow.

Romans 8:37-39Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 2:4-5But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).

Romans 5:8But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Zephaniah 3:17The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

Remember, you are loved!

Peace and blessings!

God’s Plan For Us

Manna For Today: Thursday, November 16, 2017

Make allowance for each other_s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

Micah 6:8No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

This text embodies God’s perspective of how we are to comport ourselves. What follow are further details on God’s life lessons for us:

1. Know that submission reflects the authority of divine commission.

Ephesians 5:21And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

2. Conceit will always defeat.

Philippians 2:3Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

3. Let it go, let it go, let it go!

Colossians 3:13Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

4. Get rich quick!

Colossians 3:16Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

Remember, you are loved!

Peace and blessings!

Be Present!

Manna For Today: Wednesday, November 15, 2017

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.

God calls us to be present not just being there. When we are present, He is able to use us in extraordinary ways.

The lack of being present in our lives creates lost opportunity. Today, be present and allow God to use you.

1. Value before you add value.

II Thessalonians 1:3Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

2. Embrace the daily disciplines of the right heart and words of worth.

Hebrews 3:13You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.

3. Determine to aid someone in moving forward in Him today!

Hebrews 10:24Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.

4. Be accounted for.

Hebrews 10:25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Remember, you are loved!

Peace and blessings!

Exchange Your Weariness for Rest Today!

Manna For Today: Tuesday, November 14, 2017

If you are tired or weary or weighed down by the heaviness of your circumstances, go to your Heavenly Father now.

Matthew 11:28 – [Jesus speaking] “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

This text reminds me of the sweet repose a child finds on the lap of a mom or dad. It’s just not a break from the stress or demand of the day, it’s a refuge (comfort, relief, help and hope). It’s the kind of rejuvenation that can only come from divine inspiration.

If you are tired or weary or weighed down by the heaviness of your circumstances, go to your Heavenly Father now. He is waiting for you, ready to relieve your weariness and lift your burden.

Exchange your weariness for His rest today!

Remember, you are loved!

Peace and blessings!

There Is A Way Out!

Manna For Today: Monday, November 13, 2017

Put your trust in His faithfulness and not your own!

I Corinthians 10:13The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a WAY out so that you can endure.

My Friend, you may be facing something that seems insurmountable or maybe something will come up later that will feel greater than your capacity to deal with it. This scripture is for you when you are confronted with this kind of issue.

Note what it says:

1. God will not allow any challenge in our lives that He hasn’t already equipped us to deal with; it’s of the common variety!

•“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience.”

2. Put your trust in His faithfulness and not your own!

 •“And God is faithful.”

3. God gets you and He’s got you!

•“He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand.”

4. Live not preoccupied with but prepared for challenge!

 •“When you are tempted…”

5. There’s only one way out and God has it for you!

•“He will show you a way out so that you can endure.”

Live an ‘in Him’ kind of life! Remember, you are loved!

Peace and blessings!
