God’s Got Me!

Manna For Today: Saturday, December 15, 2018

Philippians 4:12I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

What was the secret Paul discovered that gave him the depth of resource in such a diverse set of circumstances? It’s simple; just three words tell the entire story, “God’s got me.”

He’s aware of every detail of my life. His provision is without fault and we have no need to worry; any fear is needless.

Allow this to be your thought for today; God’s Got Me!

Remember, you are loved!

Be Encouraged!

Manna For Today: Friday, December 14, 2018

Colossians 1:11-12… strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

God apportions grace according to need. What do you need today? Ask Him to give it to you according to His awesome power. It enables our endurance, patience and joy.

Thank Him daily for His bountiful blessings and, most of all, for writing your name in the Lamb’s book of life.

Remember, you are loved!

Exchange Gain For Contentment!

Manna For Today: Thursday, December 13, 2018

Philippians 3:8Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.

Our discontentment is often the result of our not having something we desire; something that is not going our way, something we can’t afford but strongly desire; a trip we’d like to take but cannot, etc. We can, if we are not prayerful, allow the acquisition of things or the lack thereof to color our day, week or even month. Our decisions become a reflection of how we see our world and subsequently our lives.

My friend, you can exchange your desire to gain a number of things for contentment. You will never acquire anything that will in any way be comparable to what you have in Christ. The problem is our failure to properly value what we have in Him.

Take time in this season of His birth to focus on who He is and what He has done. Make a list of scriptures that aid you in appreciating His unmeasurable value and beauty. It will draw you closer to Him and you’ll understand the greatness in gaining Christ.

I Timothy 6:6Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

Remember, you are loved!

Be Effective

Manna For Today: Wednesday, December 12, 2018

John 15:5 – [Jesus speaking] “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

Our effectiveness is directly corollary to our proximity to Christ. Ineffectiveness is the result of our failure to abide in Him or unwillingness to allow Him to abide in us. Take up residence in Him today and allow Him to live out loud in you and be effective.

Remember, you are loved!

Peace and blessings!

Here’s What You Do!

Manna For Today: Tuesday, December 11, 2018

Micah 6:8He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Incorporate these three things in your living strategy:

1. Do what is right or just.

• Dr. King said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

2. Love kindness.

• Mark Twain said, “Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”

3. Walk humbly with your God.

• C.S. Lewis said, “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less.”

Facing Opposition In Victory

Manna For Today: Monday, December 10, 2018

Hebrews 12:3Think of all the hostility He [Christ] endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up.

What sometimes robs us of victory against opposition is believing the lie that we are alone. When we think we are alone we can become fearful, intimidated, unfocused and disquieted.

Your reality is that, in Christ, you are never alone. He’s always there and it helps you to think about what He went though. Remember Galatians 6:9 [And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart].

Resist defeat with every fiber of your being, move forward every day in some way and know that you have the victory because it belongs to God.

Pray daily, feed on the Word of God and watch your strength grow!

A Blessed Attitude!

Manna For Today: Sunday, December 9, 2018

Colossians 3:12-13Since God chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

1. I am God’s personal choice.

2. I am holy and loved.

3. I am compassionate.

4. I am kind.

5. I am practicing humility.

6. I am practicing meekness.

7. I am patient.

8. I am able to bear another’s burden.

9. I am forgiving.

10. I have been forgiven.

Practice these attitudes of heart and consciousness! Remember, you are loved!

Peace and blessings!
